Evergold Minerals (ASX:EG1) reports further assay results from its 2026 reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Duchess of York prospect within the Mt Monger Gold Project in Western Australia.
The company has received assays for approximately 80% of the program, representing 2,180 of the 2,667 samples submitted.
Results for the remaining samples, including maiden RC drilling at the Gladiator prospect, are expected over the coming weeks.
Latest results from 15 RC drill holes confirm ‘broad’ zones of structurally controlled gold mineralisation extending from surface to depths exceeding 100m.
Key intercepts include 2m @ 7.90 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 43m; 3m @ 5.11g/t Au from 3m, including 1m @ 11.46g/t Au; 19m @ 1.48g/t Au from 56m, including 5m @ 2.04g/t Au; and 18m @ 1.23g/t Au from 8m, including 5m @ 1.80g/t Au.
Other highlights include 8m @ 2.14g/t Au from 1m; 25m @ 1.00g/t Au from 57m; and 12m @ 1.19g/t Au from surface.
Director Glenn Grayson says the results demonstrate the scale of opportunity at Duchess of York.
“Duchess of York is increasingly becoming the template for exploration across the broader Mt Monger Project,” Grayson says.
“As our understanding of this system improves, so too does our confidence in applying the same geological model across a growing pipeline of regional targets.
“That makes our upcoming regional aircore program a pivotal next step, as for the first time, we’ll be testing whether the geological setting that is proving successful at Duchess is repeated elsewhere across the project.
“Our objective isn’t simply to grow one discovery, but to uncover multiple discoveries across the gold system at Mt Monger.”
Located approximately 70km southeast of Kalgoorlie, Mt Monger sits less than 5km from Vault Minerals’ (ASX:VAU) 1.2 million tonne per annum Randalls Gold Mill.
Evergold’s planned regional aircore drilling program at Mt Monger is slated to start in approximately two weeks, followed by phase two RC drilling at Duchess of York to test down dip, along-strike, and offset extensions.
The company adds that soil geochemical survey assays from the Craig’s Rest prospect at the Leonora Goldfields Project are expected within four to six weeks.
Evergold Minerals is an Australian explorer focused on discovering and developing gold assets across Australia.
