A new gold zone has joined the Mt Monger Project lineup.
Mining.com.au catches up with Evergold Minerals (ASX:EG1) General Manager Tim Fraser after aircore drilling defined the new Vanguard zone near its Duchess of York prospect in Western Australia.
Tim unpacks:
- Vanguard: A new shallow gold zone northwest of Duchess of York
- Geology: Mineralisation appears similar to the Duchess system
- Drilling: Around 5,000–6,000m of reverse circulation drilling is planned at Duchess of York
- Vanguard: A further few thousand metres is planned
- Next: Evergold is targeting its maiden resource in early 2027, with Vanguard potentially following
Duchess of York may have found a twin.
Now Evergold has to see how big Vanguard can get.
