Enegex (ASX:ENX) has officially undergone a name change to Famien Resources, with its ticker code changing to ‘FMN’ effective as of trading on 19 May.
Shareholders approved the name change at a general meeting on 15 April, rebranding the company as Famien.
The company is a mineral explorer focused on strategic acquisitions of highly prospective gold projects in Côte d’Ivoire. In September 2025, it signed a binding agreement to acquire the privately held Famien Resources, which holds a 3,700km2 portfolio of permits prospective for gold exploration.
Enegex also holds a portfolio of Western Australian-based assets in the West Yilgarn region, including Perenjori, Three Springs, Miamoon, Walebing, and Goomalling, totalling 1,755km2.
