‘Encouraging’ results at ICG Silver’s Tuscarora

ICG Silver & Gold (CSE:ICG) reports assay results from initial surface sampling at the TJ prospect within its Tuscarora Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, US.

The company collected 39 rock samples across an anomalous surface footprint extending 1.1km. The newly acquired TJ prospect comprises six unpatented mineral claims covering approximately 49 hectares in Elko County.

Assay highlights include 297 grams per tonne silver (Ag) and 0.30g/t gold (Au), 218g/t Ag, 12.85g/t Ag and 1.88g/t Au, and 5.13g/t Ag and 2.58g/t Au.

Vice President of Exploration Korbon McCall says these results are ‘encouraging’ as they come from an area that had not previously been a focus of modern systematic exploration.

“The association of strongly anomalous precious metals with hydrothermal brecciation, Eocene intrusive activity and older structural corridors provides a compelling foundation for continued work,” McCall says.

These results will help us refine the geological model and prioritise the next phase of surface exploration located in the West zone.”

Follow-up work involves integrating assay results with geological mapping, structural interpretation, and alteration characterisation.

ICG Silver also plans to undertake further rock chip sampling, conduct geochemical surveys across areas of limited exposure, and evaluate the prospect for geophysical surveying and drill target development.

ICG Silver & Gold is a mineral explorer and developer advancing the Tuscarora district in northern Nevada.
