Eminence Minerals (ASX:EMA) has appointed exploration geologist Dr Yves Cheze and chartered professional engineer John Ganser as senior technical advisors to support its Brazilian rare earths (REEs) and bauxite-gallium strategy.
Cheze brings more than 45 years of international experience across precious and base metals, bauxite, iron ore, and industrial minerals. He previously served as operations chief for Enrich Mining, country director for SEREM Malaysia, and directed BRGM‘s exploration in Sudan’s Ariab Belt.
CEO Anthony Hills says Cheze’s experience will be valuable as the company advances exploration and planned drilling activities at Campo Grande.
“Yves brings more than four decades of international exploration and geological experience, including extensive expertise in exploration targeting, drilling, geological interpretation, and resource evaluation,” Hills says.
Meanwhile, Ganser joins Eminence with over 45 years of processing and engineering experience, having held senior roles with Iluka Resources (ASX:ILU), Lynas Rare Earths (ASX:LYC), Arafura Resources (ASX:ARU), BHP (ASX:BHP), and Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG).
His recent roles include project manager for Iluka’s Eneabba Rare Earths Project and study manager for Lynas’s $500 million Kalgoorlie cracking and leaching plant.
Hills says Ganser provides strong processing and project development expertise.
“John brings an equally impressive depth of experience … with direct involvement in some of Australia’s most significant rare earths projects, including Eneabba, Kalgoorlie and Nolans,” Hills says.
“Importantly, their skill sets are highly complementary. We are building a technical team capable of evaluating our projects from the geology and exploration stage through to mineral processing and potential development pathways.”
Eminence Minerals is a mining company focused on the exploration, appraisal, and development of iron ore and future-facing commodities such as REEs.
