EagleOne picks up uranium-rare earths project

EagleOne Metals (CSE:EAGL) has completed the acquisition of ten mineral claims, comprising the Poison Springs Uranium Project in the US.

As part of the deal, the company is required to pay US$50,000 to the project vendors.

Poison Springs, covering 206.6 acres, is located within southeastern Utah which is known for sandstone-hosted uranium mineralisation associated with Triassic-age sedimentary units. The mineral claims cover prospective stratigraphy and favourable geological settings that have been the focus of historical mining and exploration both on the property and in the broader area.

CEO Matthew Markin says completing the acquisition of the project marks an “important” step in expanding Eagleone’s exposure to critical minerals in the US.

“The project is situated within a broader district with a history of uranium mineralisation, providing a strong foundation for systematic exploration and the potential to define a larger mineralised system,” Markin says.

“This acquisition is fully aligned with our strategy of building a diversified portfolio of assets in established mining regions where we can apply modern exploration techniques and advanced data analysis to improve targeting and increase the profitability of discovery across multiple commodities that are essential to the evolving global energy and digital economy.”

Future work programs at Poison Springs are expected to include geological mapping, radiometric surveys and follow-up drilling designed to confirm and expand known zones of mineralisation.

EagleOne is a Canada-based precious, base and critical mineral explorer focused on building a diversified portfolio of assets in established mining jurisdictions.
