Precious and battery minerals explorer Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM) has received drilling results from its Widgiemooltha Project that validate the ‘multi-commodity prospectivity’ of the company’s exploration portfolio.
The $13.96 million company says an aircore drilling campaign, comprising 23 holes, was designed to test gold targets at the Mandilla and Higginsville prospects.
At Higginsville, a potential mineralised structure was identified, with a ‘significant’ bottom-of-hole assay from hole NGA011 measuring 1m @ 5.61 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 44m.
The company also noted hole HGA015, with 4m @ 1.59g/t gold from 20m, intercepted a composite sample towards the bottom of the weathering profile.
Meanwhile, the results at the Mandilla prospect indicate the potential for Astral Resources’ (ASX:AAR) Mandilla Project mineralisation to extend onto Dynamic’s tenure, with a bottom-of-hole assay from hole MDA011 measuring 1m @ 3.1g/t gold.
Dynamic says it will be reviewing and revising its geological model of the area to determine the next steps at the Mandilla prospect.
Dynamic Metals is an exploration company focusedoon advancing its ‘highly prospective’ portfolio containing critical minerals in Australia. The company’s flagship Widgiemooltha Project covers an area of 880km-square extending between Norseman and Kambalda.
As of 30 June 2023, the company had $4.4 million in cash at hand, according to its latest quarterly report.
