Dynamic Metals shares surge on completion of first drilling campaign at Lake Percy, WA

Junior explorer Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM) has unveiled its upcoming Western Australian exploration plans after completing a maiden drilling campaign at the Lake Percy project.

The company is eyeing follow-up drilling work at the Dordie Far West nickel target within its Widgiemooltha project in mid-May, after which it will take on three additional aircore (AC) drilling programs in the region by the end of June.

Dynamic Metals says with $5.62 million in the bank, it’s fully funded for its planned exploration work across its critical minerals portfolio.

The announcement of the upcoming exploration work follows the completion of 102 AC and reverse circulation (RC) drillholes at the company’s Lake Percy nickel and lithium asset in the goldfields region of WA.

The company drilled for 6,372 metres all-up and says all samples have now been sent off to a laboratory for analysis.

Shares in Dynamic Metals have spiked 18.42%  to $0.225 just before market close on 10 May 2023.

As part of the company’s phase one drilling program in the area, Dynamic drilled 35 AC holes and 67 RC holes

The Lake Percy project lies about 120km west of Norseman, along the Hyden-Norseman road. Dynamic Metals’ tenements in the area are centred around the Lake Johnston greenstone belt, which is home to the Emily Ann and Maggie Hays nickel mines and Charger Metals’ (ASX:CHR) Medcalf spodumene discovery.

Dynamic Metals is a junior exploration company focused on advancing its ‘highly prospective’ portfolio of critical minerals projects in Australia. The company’s flagship project, Widgiemooltha is prospective for lithium, nickel, and gold and covers an 880km-square area east of Perth. Dynamic also owns the Lake Percy and Deep Well projects in WA.
