Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM) has begun a fresh reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Dordie Far West (DFW) nickel prospect within its Widgiemooltha Project in Western Australia.
The planned 400m drilling program is designed to follow up on an initial drilling program that tested for Kambalda komatiite-type massive sulphide mineralisation in the area.
Dynamic says from this previous program, completed in February, ‘significant’ mineralised zones were intercepted in 3 of the 5 holes, with thick widths and ‘high-grade’ tenor when compared to historic drilling completed by Mincor Resources (ASX:MCR) in the late 2000s.
The assays from this drilling work were utilised to update the geological model in the area, and Dynamic has now planned an additional 2 RC holes on existing sections to the southwest to test for an extension of mineralisation into the fresh rock.

The company is expecting assay results from the new program early next quarter.
Once this program is completed, Dynamic will be focusing on 3 aircore programs planned and permitted across the Widgiemooltha Project, including at the Mandilla, Higginsville, and Sunday Soak targets.
These programs are anticipated to be executed within the June quarter as the company continues to deliver on its commitment to advancing its ‘underexplored’ critical minerals portfolio.
