Dynamic Metals (ASX:DYM) has begun a 100-hole 6,000m aircore (AC) drill program at the Lake Percy Project in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.
The company will drill through the weathering profile across the western ultramafic to acquire fresh rock samples for geochemical analysis, which will feed into Dynamic’s targeting model for nickel sulphides.
Dynamic reports thiswill be the first step in a two phase program which is expected to be completed at Lake Percy over the next 6 months.
Results from the program will be used to refine additional targets for a deeper reverse circulation (RC) drilling program planned for P2, in which several targets have begun being generated based on existing historical data.

The Lake Percy project is located 120km to the west of the township of Norseman, along the Hyden-Norseman Road. The project consists of 2 exploration licences and 4 exploration licence applications in the south-eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
Dynamic’s tenements are centred around the northern extension of the Lake Johnston greenstone belt, which hosts the recent Medcalf spodumene discovery by Charger Metals (ASX:CHR) and the Emily Ann and Maggie Hays nickel mines.
Dynamic Metals reports there are a number of lithium prospects in close proximity to the project area including the Mt Day lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite field which is 20km southeast of Lake Percy, as well as 60km east of the Mt Holland/Earl Grey mining Project.
The company has been currently reviewing the LCT potential of the Lake Percy project, with further fieldwork such as mapping and sampling underway through March. Dynamic Metals states this will continue to build the knowledge of the zoning of the Lake Percy pegmatites and refine potential lithium drill targets.
