Australian Critical Minerals (ASX:ACM) will begin drilling at its Flint Gold‑Silver Project, 80km east of Trujillo in Peru.
Australian Critical Minerals has engaged SFP Drilling SAC to mobilise to site on 28 March 2026. The maiden drilling campaign will launch on 31 March and test “high impact” gold-silver targets, the broader Flint system, and hydrothermal alteration areas that access roads and drill pad construction work exposed on freshly broken rock.
The large hydrothermal system has a 4km strike length, which the company believes contains two separate high‑sulphidation epithermal systems divided by a porphyry‑copper lithocap.
Meanwhile, access and drilling platform construction is almost complete at the San Juan Porphyry Project. The onsite geological team will perform further surface mapping and sampling of areas between drill pads.
“The upcoming program will represent the first systematic drill test of this broader system, targeting both interpreted epithermal centres and associated alteration zones,” Executive Chairman Dean de Largie says.
“We expect full site preparation to be finished ahead of mobilisation, ensuring an efficient and uninterrupted drilling program.”
The company will start phase one diamond drilling on 31 March. Ongoing mapping and geochemical sampling in the southern sector is also planned.
