Doug Flanagan to drive Black Swan for Horizon

Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ) has announced a key management appointment with Doug Flanagan joining the company as Project Director.

Bringing over 26 years of global resources, mining, and infrastructure experience, Flanagan has delivered processing plant projects across every stage of the lifecycle, including greenfield projects, brownfield refurbishments, upgrades, construction, and commissioning.

Flanagan was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Element 25 (ASX:E25) and CEO of the high purity metals division at King River Resources (ASX:KRR).

Managing Director Grant Haywood notes that the Horizon team is happy to have Flanagan join the team to drive the development of the Black Swan Processing Hub.

“His expertise brings significant experience in project management, contractor management, cost control, and project execution,” Haywood says.

“With the Black Swan Processing Hub and LOM Studies fully funded, FEED studies underway, and long lead items ordered, we are growing the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.”

Horizon Minerals is a mid-tier gold producer with projects in the heart of the West Australian goldfields.
