The Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum has brought in new equity partners into the business.
The new investors include Chairman Jim Walker, Event Director Suzanne Christie, and Event Logistics Manager Gavin Everett.
The new equity partners also include three mining sector professionals – Stuart Tonkin, Mark Clark, and Darren Martin.
Current owners Myles Ertzen and Sharon Giorgetta will retain a significant stake in the business and will continue to have active roles in running the annual event. There will be no changes to management.
Ertzen says the new partners bring extensive mining sector knowledge and experience to the business.
“We are very pleased to have attracted high quality shareholders to the business,” Ertzen says.
“The new expanded ownership group is excited to be a part of the unique and world-class mining event that Diggers & Dealers offers delegates in Kalgoorlie-Boulder each year.
“We look forward to seeing you in August for the 33rd annual Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum.”
