Dalaroo Metals (ASX: DAL) has reported a 7km by 3km magnetic anomaly hosting potential nickel-copper deposits following a recent drone magnetic survey at its Namban Project in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region.
Results from the 50m spaced survey support the presence of three principal magnetic zones striking north-northwest, which correspond to Geological Survey of Western Australia-mapped maffic rocks that extend under cover.
Addressing the results, Managing Director Harjinder Kehal said: “We are very excited our new detailed drone survey has outlined a very strong magnetic anomaly with dimensions of 7km long and 3km wide. Several initial areas of interest have been defined which are recommended for follow up investigation.

The company also reports that the most-prominent magnetic feature is located on the eastern boundary of the mafic intrusion over 4km of strike, with the central magnetic feature extending over 2.5km.

The Namban Project is located in the mid-north part of the Western Australian Wheatbelt region and is comprised of a ground package totalling 437km² of undeveloped land area, with Dalaroo owning 100% of all tenements.
Importantly, no modern exploration had been undertaken over the Namban Project area prior to Dalaroo’s invovlement.
With the drone survey complete, work is set to commence on systematic geochemical sampling over the 7km anomaly with further drilling campaigns subject to positive sampling results.
