Critica to release maiden Jupiter MRE in February 2025

With work “advancing well”, Critica (ASX:CRI) expects to release a maiden resource estimate for the Jupiter Project by mid-February 2025.

The project is part of the broader Brothers Clay-Hosted Rare Earth Project located 250km east of Geraldton, Western Australia.

Managing Director Philippa Leggat says the company has rapidly defined a “very large” body of rare earth mineralisation at Jupiter, and notes that SRK Consulting has been contracted to undertake the mineral resource estimate (MRE).

“Our drill data is now at sufficient density to allow estimation of a maiden MRE for this impressive project, which is currently in the process of being advanced towards finalisation,” Leggat says.

“We have also made five further satellite discoveries at Brothers, discrete from Jupiter, the result of a clever, targeted and low-cost exploration drilling program.”

In parallel, Critica is also advancing several workstreams of metallurgical testwork at Jupiter. The company expects initial results to be received in Q1 2025.

This news comes after the company received final assay data from the previously conducted infill drilling program, which has confirmed the high-grade zones at Jupiter.

Critica notes these findings demonstrate the continuity of mineralisation.

“Alongside these exploration activities, we have been diligently and systematically advancing multiple metallurgical testwork streams on Jupiter mineralisation in parallel,” Leggat adds.

“We look forward to providing initial results on this key metallurgical work early in the new year.”

Leggat also noted Critica’s “robust” financial position.

“Having funding secured through 2025 allows us the opportunity to advance Jupiter, and the broader Brothers Project, with a view to it becoming one of Australia’s most significant, clay-hosted rare earth discoveries,” she says.

Jupiter is a high-grade, clay-hosted rare earth deposit that forms part of the broader Brothers Project, which was discovered in late 2023. It is strategically located within the Mt Magnet and Yalgoo mining district of Western Australia.

Critica is a mineral explorer focused on critical minerals vital to the energy transition.
