Connected Minerals (ASX:CML) has kicked off its maiden drill program in Namibia, marking the next phase for the company’s exploration efforts at the Etango and Swakopmund projects. Managing Director, Warrick Clent, joins Shae Russell to explain the details of their drilling campaign, which targets high-potential uranium zones. At the Etango Northeast project, the team has drilled 2,600 metres with strong early indications of mineralisation, while the Swakopmund project is ready to be explored with a focus on paleo channel-hosted uranium deposits.
With initial results expected within weeks, the excitement around the projects continues to build. These areas have shown promising signs, including impressive grab samples and scintillometer readings. As exploration progresses, the company is optimistic about unlocking the potential of these underexplored regions in Namibia, with a sharp focus on primary uranium mineralisation and the calcrete-hosted mineralisation at Swakopmund.
