Connected Minerals prepares for Etango drilling

Connected Minerals (ASX:CML) is set to begin phase two drilling comprising 18 holes for 2,800m at the Etango North-East Uranium Project in Namibia.

The program, which will begin in mid-late August 2025, will follow-up previous results from the phase one drilling at the Ondapanda prospect in May with Hammerstein Drilling undertaking the phase two work.

Connected’s phase one program focused on high-priority targets previously identified by Connected following receiving rock chip sampling results.

Some of the results included 5m @ 358 parts per million (ppm) uranium equivalent from 88m, including 2m @ 643ppm and 1m @ 814ppm from 89m.

CEO Warrick Clent says phase one delivered economic uranium grades in 14 out of 15 of the holes.

“Phase two has been designed to include a combination of both extensional and infill drilling at the Ondapanda prospect and we are very excited to get back out on the ground so soon after our completion of phase one to commence our follow-up drilling program,” Clent says.

The Etango North-East Project, covering 30km2, is located in the western part of Namibia and is in close proximity to advanced uranium projects.

Connected Minerals is focused on targeting uranium discoveries across its strategic land position covering two projects.
