Coda Minerals (ASX:COD) has completed its high-resolution gravity survey conducted by geodetic surveyors, DaishSat at the company’s wholly owned Elizabeth Creek Copper Cobalt Project in South Australia.
The objective of the gravity survey was to improve the resolution of historical gravity surveys. Additionally, the survey will drive detailed inversions and support the recent Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) survey, which was to generate precise follow-up iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) drill targets.
The survey includes 3,634 total stations, covering an area of 65km-square, encompassing the Emmie IOCG prospect, Emmie Bluff mineral resource, and the surrounding IOCG and sediment-hosted prospects to a spacing of 125m.
Commenting on the importance of the survey and its future applications, Code Minerals Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chris Stevens says: “Less than 2 weeks ago we delivered a pivotal Scoping Study defining the future of the copper-cobalt mineralisation and opening the strategic pathway to commercial deals to advance the development of that project.
At the same time, we have continued to advance the IOCG exploration with these recently completed geophysical programs. The interpretation and modelling efforts now underway will form the basis for the next round of IOCG exploration and give us tools to precisely target the most prospective parts of the system.

The company reports that its next-stage results from the recent ANT survey are expected within the next 2 weeks.
Coda’s Elizabeth Creek Project consists of the flagship Emmie Bluff underground deposit, and the satellite MG14 and Windabout open pit copper-cobalt-silver deposits. In addition, all 3 of these deposits are the subject of Coda’s recently released Scoping Study.
The Elizabeth Creek Project is situated about 30km southeast of Woomera and 135km northwest of Port Augusta in South Australia. The project area currently covers 701km-square in the Olympic Dam Copper Province.
