Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU) has announced new results from its maiden drill program at the Chisebuka target within the Muntanga Uranium Project in Zambia.
The company has concluded drill now with 69 holes done by the end of 2025.
Results from the final 23 holes returned continued shallow, broad-spaced mineralisation including 20.2m @ 454 parts per million (ppm) equivalent uranium trioxide (U3O8) from 7.0m, 40.1m @ 371ppm U3O8 from 29.8m, 13.5m @ 305ppm U3O8 from 21.3m, and 32.1m @ 343ppm U3O8 from 34.6m.
CEO Phil Hoskins says that this drill program aligns with the company’s strategy of targeting bulk open-pittable mineralisation.
“Importantly, Chisebuka is only the first of six exploration targets recently outlined within the broader Muntanga Uranium Project area, giving the company confidence it can materially increase the project’s resources with further drilling and other exploration activities,” Hoskins says.
The Chisebuka target is the first of six high priority targets to be drilled across the Muntanga Project. The company is well funded for additional exploration across Muntanga in 2026 with approximately $20 million in cash.
Following the completion of the initial drill program at Chisebuka, Atomic Eagle is planning another round of drilling to close the hole spacing to 100m x 100m centres.
Atomic Eagle is focused on exploration and development of its uranium assets in Africa, with a focus on the flagship Muntanga Uranium Project in Zambia.
