Challenger commences ore trucking to Casposo

Challenger Gold (ASX:CEL) has commenced ore trucking operations from the Hualilán Mine in San Juan, Argentina to the Casposo Plant, a key milestone of the company’s toll milling strategy.

Ore haulage is being conducted by experienced local contractors, Mi Viejo S.R.L., MTZ S.R.L, and Terra Logistica S.A., aligning with the company’s commitment to supporting local employment and industry participation.

The ore haulage is being conducted as a controlled, staged logistics operation. In the first two weeks, ore haulage will be conducted at a rate of approximately 500 tonnes per day. The rate will then increase to approximately 1,000 tonnes per day as the company commences round-the-clock shifts.

In February 2026, Challenger completed the construction of a 3km long bypass road on the western bank of the Rio de los Patos, on budget and ahead of schedule. This bypass road allows the ore haulage to circumnavigate around the Calingasta River bridge and township.
