The Jaguar Project will create many jobs for the local region and will contribute greatly to the local economies in which it operates in the form of royalties and taxes. We look forward to working with CTAPME and our many stakeholders as we continue on the path towards the development of Jaguar.”

Brazil’s Investment Partnership Program (PPI) is an initiative that aims to provide special assistance to strategic mineral projects which are considered of particular national interest.

Member projects are selected by an inter-ministerial Committee of Analysis of Strategic Minerals Projects (CTAPME). This body includes representative members from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Science, Technology, and Innovation Ministry, along with the Special Secretariat of Strategic Affairs of the Presidency.

The Jaguar Nickel Sulphide Project is located in the Carajás Mineral Province, Brazil, around 35km north of the regional centre of Tucuma. The project contains a Mineral Resource Estimate of 80.6Mt @ 0.91% Ni for 730,700t of contained nickel
