Gold producer Calidus Resources (ASX:CAI) has reached a record quarterly production of 16,177 ounces of gold (oz Au) at its Warrawoona Gold Project in Western Australia.
The company says this result means it has met its guidance for the 6 months to the end of June 2023 of between 31,000 oz Au and 35,000 oz Au, producing 31,364 oz Au over the period.
Calidus reports all-in sustaining costs (AISC) for the June quarter are not finalised yet but are anticipated to be within its guidance of $2,000 to $2,250 per oz.
Production in June 2023 of 5,745 oz was a record at the Warrawoona Project and continues the company’s trend of steadily increasing production on both a monthly and quarterly basis. Calidus says this sets an ‘excellent’ platform for continued growth through ‘higher-grade’ pits and undergrounds.
The company is expecting to provide further details in its full June 2023 quarterly report later this month.
Calidus adds that the record production is particularly pleasing given the impact of Tropical Cyclone Ilsa during the quarter.
Calidus Resources is an ASX-listed gold explorer and developer that controls the 1.7-million-ounce Warrawoona Gold Project in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.
