Bulletin Resources (ASX: BNR) has confirmed a second ‘high grade’ lithium pegmatite trend from recent rock-chip sampling at its Ravensthorpe Lithium Project in Western Australia.
The Horseshoe pegmatite, part of the newly-dubbed Western Pegmatite Trend, returned rock-chip assays of up to 4.50% Li2O, with an average assay of 3.1% Li2O, 0.8% Rb, and 0.16% Cs along a 50m outcropping zone.
According to the company, the lepidolite-bearing trend, which runs parallel to the ‘high-grade’ spodumene-bearing Eastern Pegmatite Trend, represents an ‘excellent’ additional second leg at Ravensthorpe.

Commenting on the update, Bulletin Resources CEO Mark Csar said: “Following on from the recently reported exceptional spodumene and amblygonite lithium rock chip assays at Big pegmatite within the Eastern Pegmatite Trend, it is extremely pleasing to report high grade lithium assays within the Western Pegmatite Trend. We now have a great opportunity to progress two lithium plays only a few kms apart in this incredibly prospective area with an operating lithium processing plant only 12km away.”
The Ravensthorpe Lithium Project is located 12km southwest and along strike of Allkem Limited’s (ASX: AKE) 210ktpa Mt Cattlin Lithium Mine.
Moving forward, Bulletin notes that it plans to advance exploration at the Western Pegmatite Trend, along with the Eastern Pegmatite Trend where ‘exceptional’ spodumene results were recently reported.

The company reports that plans are underway for mapping, further rock chipping, and soil sampling, followed by drilling and other exploration activities designed to progress exploration in the tenement.
