Bulletin Resources (ASX: BNR) has reported results as high as 7.04% Li2O from a recent mapping and rock-chip program on its 130km² Ravensthorpe Lithium Project in Western Australia.
The company had recently identified two new areas of spodumene lithium mineralisation along the Eastern Pegmatite Trend at the project that complement known occurrences at the Big, Deep Purple, and Creek pegmatites.
The two new spodumene areas have now been confirmed as containing ‘high-grade’ lithium by laboratory analysis, with rock chip grades of 7.04% Li2O, 6.80% Li2O, 2.17% Li2O, and 1.49% Li2O.
A high-lithium-grade, lepidolite-bearing pegmatite was also identified approximately 500m east of the Phillips South pegmatite, with rock chip grades of 4.01% Li2O, 3.62% Li2O, and 3.05% Li2O.
The company says that these additional pegmatite outcrops support and significantly increase the lithium prospectivity of the broader Eastern Pegmatite Trend.
The Ravensthorpe Project overlies the Annabelle volcanic sequence, which also hosts Allkem Limited’s (ASX: AKE) Mt Cattlin Lithium mine, 12km to the east.
Bulletin’s mapping of the 4km Eastern Pegmatite Trend, which is open to the north, has found approximately 100 pegmatite outcrops to date. The 700m x 500m Big pegmatite area comprises approximately 40 pegmatite outcrops in a close-spaced stacked dyke swarm arrangement.

Looking forward, Bulletin will continue with mapping and sampling, followed by drilling and other exploration works to progress exploration, while environmental studies required for clearing permits progress.
