Brunswick unlocks Anatacau’s lithium values

Brunswick Exploration (TSX-V:BRW) has intercepted multiple zones of lithium mineralisation from an inaugural drill program at the Anatacau Main Project, located in the Eeyou Istchee-James Bay region of Québec.

Mineralisation was found to host spodumene-bearing pegmatites found along a corridor similar to Rio Tinto’s (ASX:RIO) nearby Galaxy Project, located 22km to the west.

Hole AN-25-05 returned 1.66% lithium oxide over 47.2m, found within a larger package of 120.7m @ 1.31% lithium oxide.

Brunswick also intercepted cesium values, including 1.46% cesium oxide over 1m and 0.8% cesium oxide over 1m.

CEO Killian Charles says the company is starting to define a “sizeable” lithium system at Anatacau Main, extending more than 170m in strike length and remaining open in all directions.

“Furthermore, we are seeing mineralisation constrained to the same structural corridor that is found at Rio Tinto’s Galaxy project (54.3 million tonnes measured and indicated at 1.30% lithium oxide and 55.9 million tonnes inferred at 1.29%) and Brunswick’s Anatacau West,” Charles says.

“At Anatacau Main, we control over 18km of this highly prospective corridor which will be the focus of subsequent work in Q1 2026.

“Between these strong results at Anatacau, a forthcoming maiden resource estimate for Mirage, an inaugural drill campaign in Greenland and further growth opportunities beyond the existing portfolio, Brunswick Exploration is among the most exciting companies in the lithium exploration space.”

Brunswick Exploration is a Montreal-based explorer focused on uncovering lithium in Canada for the global decarbonisation and energy transition.
