Brunswick Exploration wraps up Anatacau option agreement

Brunswick Exploration (TSX-V:BRW) has completed all required work expenditures and share payments to fully exercise an option agreement for the Anatacau Main and West projects in Canada.

As a result, the company has now acquired a 90% interest in both projects and retains a right of first refusal on the remaining free carried 10% held by privately held Electric Elements Mining.

The company recently completed a winter drilling campaign at the Anatacau Main Project, following exploration work conducted in 2025. Multiple large and well-mineralised pegmatites have been uncovered in drill core, and several holes still have pending assays which will be released in the coming weeks.

Recent compilation work identified several high-priority targets across the rest of the Anatacau Main Project. Between two and five kilometres south of the Anaïs showing, three unverified spodumene showings were identified through compilation work.

Brunswick says these showings expand the exploration potential surrounding the Anaïs discovery.

Further south of the project, the company identified more than 16 high-fractionated pegmatites within the Pontax trend within over 90 pegmatite outcrops. These high-priority targets neighbour two potential spodumene showings controlled by Brunswick.

Meanwhile at Anatacau West, the company has intercepted at least two, large spodumene-bearing pegmatites within 250m of mineralised pegmatites at Rio Tinto’s (ASX:RIO) James Bay Lithium Project and share the same orientation and strike.

Initially, drilling focused on near-surface mineralisation with the pegmatites only being drill tested to a maximum vertical depth of 137m.

In mid-April 2026, Brunswick defined a ‘sizeable’ lithium system at the Anatacau Main Project, after receiving initial drill results.

The results included 90.5m @ 1.31% lithium oxide, within a large package of continuous lithium mineralisation of 167.9m @ 1.02% lithium oxide.

Brunswick Exploration is a Montreal-based explorer focused on grassroots exploration for lithium in Canada.
