Emerging gold producer Breaker Resources (ASX:BRB) reports the presence of ‘high-grade’ Au mineralisation from an ongoing infill diamond drilling (DD) campaign at the Bombora prospect, as part of its Lake Roe Au Project in Western Australia (WA).
The results, generated by 10 diamond drillholes as part of its resource development infill campaign on the prospect’s primary Northern Flat Lodes, continue to validate the interpretation and further enhance the continuity of mineralisation within the ore system.
Key results include, 1m at 14.19g/t Au from 191m (BBDD0149), 0.65m at 19.98g/t Au from 549m (BBDD154W1) and 1.91m at 13.66g/t Au from 543m (BBDD0149W1).
Drilling is still ongoing at the Bombora prospect with a current focus on increasing drill density and structural validation of the higher-grade shoots within the flat lode structures.
Speaking on the results, Breaker Resources’ acting CEO, Peter Cook says: “These flat lodes keep expressing themselves as game changers, with the potential to ‘significantly’ increase the overall grade at Bombora and to become an important part of any future underground development at Lake Roe gold operations.

All lodes could share the one lot of vertical development and by coincidence they dip at the same gradient as a potential decline access.”
The company also notes that every one of the 10 holes drilled has returned ‘high-grade’ results, with the infill line spacing now at 40m spaced lines.
In addition, these results have returned following the commencement of a 4-hole diamond drilling (DD) program at its 100% Ularring project in WA, as announced by the company earlier this month.
The DD campaign at Ularring has been designed to intercept a historical geophysical anomaly and the Centre Forest Copper-Gold (Cu-Au) prospect, in order to test multiple metal anomalies directly east of historical drilling.
Breaker Resources is an ASX-listed Au producer focused on developing its 1.7Moz Lake Roe project, which is located between 2 operating Au mines about 100km east of the township of Kalgoorlie, WA.
The project represents 1 of the company’s 3 wholly owned Au exploration tenements, which comprise 1 granted mining lease and 12 exploration licences that cover a land area of about 1,000km-square. Since the discovery of the project’s Bombora prospect below thin transported cover in 2015, over 300,000m of reverse circulation (RC) and DD has uncovered a typical Archean, multi-lode Au deposit, which has returned Au grades of up to 61.78g/t Au.
The project’s Bombora prospect offers multiple open pit size/stage options with strong and demonstrable underground mining potential from various primary lode structures.
With the current infill DD campaign still ongoing, Breaker Resources announces it will shift its focus on increasing drill density and the higher grade shoots within the flat lode structures.
