Black Canyon finalises Ndalamo acquisition

Black Canyon (ASX:BCA) has settled the acquisition of privately held Ndalamo Platinum, expanding its footprint by 229km2 around the company’s Wandanya Manganese-Iron Project and the greater Balfour Manganese Field in Western Australia.

A total of six acquisition tenements, located in the east Pilbara, complement Black Canyon’s existing large tonnage shale hosted manganese discoveries within the BMF and extend the strike potential of the high-grade Wandanya manganese and iron discoveries.

The company will complete further data compilation and mapping on E46/1571 to generate targets for an initial drill program planned for Q2 2026.

The company issued 2 million shares to Ndalamo, along with 2 million unlisted options upon satisfaction of the binding sale agreement conditions, as reported by Mining.com.au.

Options are exercisable at $0.14 and will expire three years from issuance.

Black Canyon was required to complete a 21-day due diligence period and be granted tenements ELA46/1571 and ELA46/1572 by 30 November 2025 to settle the transaction.

Managing Director Brendan Cummins says the acquisition was a strategic decision for Black Canyon to expand its holding adjacent to where the company recently drilled 3km of strike within the Wandanya manganese and iron system.

“The acquisition includes two key granted tenements immediately south and north of the Wandanya discovery where the prospective manganese enriched stratigraphic horizon continues to outcrop onto the southern Ndalamo tenement for a further 300m to 400m,” Cummins says.

“In addition, another 1.8km of intermittent iron and manganese mineralisation has been mapped along the target corridor that may represent the strike continuation of the mineralisation we have drilled at Wandanya.

“The Ndalamo tenement to the south provides an immediate step-change in the prospective Wandanya strike length with potential to drill more manganese mineralisation and further enhance the scale potential of this unique discovery.”

Black Canyon is a manganese-focused developer and explorer focused on advancing its Western Australian assets.

The company will be attending this year’s Noosa Mining Investor Conference, held between 12-14 November 2025, at the Peppers Noosa Resort. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s event.
