Barrick Mining (NYSE:B) on 10 November announced a 25% increase in its quarterly base dividend to $0.125 per share.
The mining giant also announced a dividend of $0.175 per share for the third quarter of 2025, inclusive of a $0.05 per share performance dividend.
The Q3 2025 dividend will be paid on 15 December 2025.
Barrick also repurchased some 18.60 million shares during the September quarter under the share buyback program that was announced in February 2025.
As of the end of Q3 2025, Barrick has repurchased about 39.79 million shares under this year’s program for $1 billion cash, including $589 million paid during the quarter.
CFO Graham Shuttleworth says through a combination of enhanced dividends and share buybacks, the global mining behemoth provided significant financial benefits to our shareholders. “Along with our strong operating performance, cash flows and strategic initiatives, we expect to continue to provide meaningful returns while maintaining a robust balance sheet,” Shuttleworth says.
