Australia recorded a trade surplus of $7.079 billion in November, with the balance of goods increasing by $1.409 billion compared to October according to data compiled from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Exports totalled $43.816 billion (+2.01 billion, +4.8% MoM) while imports into Australia were valued at $36.737 billion, a decline of $601 million (-1.7% MoM) from October.
Iron ore shipments in November reached $9.7 billion, an increase of $692 million (+7.6% MoM), while coal exports were valued at $6.72 billion, up $319 million (+4.9% MoM).
November shipments of natural gas were $5.76 billion for the month.
