Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) has announced results from its ongoing 100,000m infill drill program at the 2.41 million ounce Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
The drill program is designed to grow the mineral resources at Boundiali’s BDT2 deposit.
The latest results have confirmed multiple ‘high-grade’ gold intercepts including 4.03m @ 10.22 grams per tonne gold from 13.50m including 1.50m @ 27.13 g/t gold; 7.15m @ 4.71g/t gold from 121.15m including 1m @ 31.24g/t gold; and 40.40m @ 0.59g/t gold from 176.60m including 1m @ 4.62 g/t gold.
Managing Director Dr Caigen Wang says that the latest results are “set to deliver both growth of our gold resources and increased confidence”.
“Gold mineralisation remains open and, on some sections, we have extended gold mineralisation by up to 180m below the current resource,” Wang says.
“These new holes will be used in the upcoming resource update at Boundiali. Drilling is ongoing and we are awaiting final assays, which we will use for the planned MRE update in Q1 CY2026.
“With $40 million in the bank and a clear pathway to deliver a pre-feasibility study (PFS) and move towards a definitive feasibility study for our Boundiali Project in late 2026, we are strategically well positioned to deliver significant value from across our portfolio this year.”
As part of Aurum’s 100,000m drill program, up to 12 diamond drill rigs will complete the drilling at Boundiali in CY2026 as they work towards an open-pit PFS for Boundiali with completion expected in Q1 CY2026.
The company also plans to deliver a significant maiden resource estimate for both the Boundiali and Napié projects in Q1 CY2026, with additional updates at Boundiali in mid and late 2026.
