Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) has submitted three applications for mining licences for the Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire with the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum, and Energy.
The company submitted applications for the Boundiali DS and Boundiali Minex tenements in December 2025, adjoining with the company’s existing application for the Boundiali South tenement, submitted in March 2025.
Aurum has now applied for licences over a total area of 572.77km2 at the greater Boundiali Project.
Managing Director Caigen Wang says Aurum’s “rapid” transition from exploration to this stage is a testament to the quality of the Boundiali footprint.
“In 2025, we grew our resource from 1.59 million ounces to 2.41 million ounces and completed over 108,000m of drilling at Boundiali,” Wang says.
“With $40 million in the bank and a clear pathway to a Definitive Feasibility Study in late 2026, we are perfectly positioned to deliver significant value this year.”
Aurum intends to release updated resource estimates for the Boundiali and Napié in Q1 CY2026, along with a Prefeasibility Study for Boundiali. Napié currently has a resource of 868,000 ounces of gold.
The company intends to cover 100,000m of drilling at Boundiali in 2026, along with another 30,000m of diamond drilling at Napié.
