Auric utilises Black Cat’s Lakewood Mill

Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) is streamlining its toll milling campaign at Black Cat Syndicate’s (ASX:BC8) Lakewood Mill in Western Australia, using its initial 60,000 tonne parcel of gold mined from the Munda Gold Mine earlier this year.

The campaign is expected to start next month, on or around 24 October, before providing cash flow in late November.

The toll mining agreement with Black Cat, executed in July 2025, allows Auric to deliver up to 125,000 tonnes, with another one or two programs expected to follow in January and March next year.

JT Metallurgical Services will oversee the campaign on behalf of Auric, which has also executed a haulage contract with TLL Haulage Solutions ahead of the program.

Managing Director Mark English says the company is pleased to work with Black Cat to begin this toll mining campaign.

“With ore already stockpiled, haulage commencing in October, and milling scheduled for late October, we are on track to deliver our first gold revenue from the Munda starter pit in November,” English says.

“This agreement will be highly beneficial for both Auric and Black Cat. Importantly, it sets the stage for our future plans to develop the larger Munda Main Pit commencing in 2026.”

Following the completion of the starter pit campaign, Auric intends to begin planning and scoping at the Munda main pit ahead of work beginning in Q2 2026.

The company described the next lot of work at the main pit as an opportunity to “expand production and reinforce Auric’s ambition to build into a sustainable mid-tier gold producer”
