Navarre Minerals (ASX:NML) shareholders undoubtedly exclaimed ‘Aureka!’ in a cry of joy and satisfaction to see the company recently complete a recapitalisation and resume trading on the ASX with a new direction and new name, Aureka, which was approved at its recent AGM.
The gold explorer is a reinvigorated company with a new structure, renewed focus, and rebranding coming next month being the culmination of its journey back to the Australia Securities Exchange.
In a forthcoming special feature to be published by Mining.com.au, Managing Director James Gurry discusses the company’s re-listing and ambitious drilling plans across key gold projects in Victoria, including Tandarra, Stawell Corridor, and St Arnaud.
While Gurry details Navarre’s recent recapitalisation, he outlines how the company is now positioning itself for significant growth as it targets high-grade discoveries in one of Australia’s most prolific gold regions.
The company will be participating in the Stawell Gold Corridor Conference on 27 November.
As Gurry explains, the company’s area of focus in the west of Victoria seldom receives as much attention as the east, which has the Fosterville gold mine, which is why he’ll be attending the Melbourne-based conference.
Since the company’s shares were suspended in June 2023, it has re-emerged debt free with a reorganised capital structure and no outstanding convertible debt, a set of supportive shareholders, and a renewed focus on growing its longheld and well understood series of advanced stage gold exploration projects across Victoria.
In the upcoming special feature, Mining.com.au will delve deep into the journey to re-list on the Australian bourse and what’s in store in 2025 and beyond for soon-to-be rebranded Victoria-focused gold mining company.
Its immediate focus, other than the name-change, is a 7,000m exploration drilling campaign at the Stawell Corridor Gold Project.
