Atlas Salt CFO steps down, citing ‘personal reasons’

Atlas Salt (TSX-V:SALT) announces that its Chief Financial Officer Jeff Kilborn has resigned for ‘personal reasons’.

Kilborn played a key role in supporting the advancement of the Great Atlantic Salt Project near St. George’s on the southwest coast of Newfoundland, Canada, as well as corporate financing initiatives during his tenure.

CEO Nolan Peterson thanked Kilborn for his dedication and contributions during an important period in the company’s growth and development.

“On behalf of the board and the entire Atlas Salt team, I would like to sincerely thank Jeff for his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to the company,” Peterson says.

“We are grateful for the contributions he has made during a significant period in Atlas Salt’s evolution and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

Kilborn added that it has been a ‘privilege’ to serve as CFO.

“I am proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to following the company’s continued success as it advances the Great Atlantic Salt Project,” Kilborn says.

Atlas Salt says it has commenced a process to identify a successor CFO.

The company’s finance and accounting functions will continue under the oversight of senior management and the board of directors in the interim.

Atlas Salt is developing the Great Atlantic Salt Project, the first new salt mine in North America in more than 25 years.
