Athena Resources (ASX:AHN) has started geochemical soil sampling for rare earth elements and base metal anomalies at its Byro Project.
The company notes that a sample team has arrived on site to complete the 1,100 sample targeted works program, which was announced on 5 October 2023.
Sampling is expected to take about a fortnight and Australian Laboratory Services will be undertaking the sample analysis.
Assay results are expected by early December 2023.
Athena is a Western Australia-based exploration company with the objective of acquiring mineral projects with the potential to be developed into profitable mining operations.
