Arizona Gold & Silver (TSX-V:AZS) is strengthening its advisory board by appointing Darin Wagner, who has over 35 years experience in mineral exploration and corporate development.
Wagner, who will act as advisor to the CEO, Mike Stark, is recognised as an expert in gold exploration with broad experience in mesothermal, epithermal and porphyry environments.
He co-founded, founded, and managed numerous Abitibi region explorers including West Timmins Mining, Falco Pacific Resources and Balmoral Resources.
West Timmins and Balmoral were acquired by third parties in deals valued at C$424 and C$160 million, respectively and Falco was transferred to the Osisko Group (TSX-V:ODV) to advance after acquisition of the multi-million-ounce Horne deposit in Québec.
More recently Wagner served as a technical advisor to numerous companies in the exploration and mining space including Nova Royalties, acquired by Metalla Royalty and Streaming (TSX-V:MTA), and most recently MAG Silver, which was acquired by Pan American Silver (TSX:PAAS).
Stark says he has known Wagner for many years and is “impressed” by his professional achievements in geology.
“Darin has clearly demonstrated his capabilities, and I look forward to collaborating with him on our projects,” the CEO says.
Arizona Gold & Silver is a mineral explorer focused on uncovering precious metal resources in Arizona and Nevada.
