Arizona Gold & Silver outlines Philadelphia’s ‘strong’ continuity

Arizona Gold & Silver (TSX-V:AZS) has received assay results from four holes drilled at the Philadelphia Project in Arizona, which outline ‘strong’ continuity of mineralisation.

Some of the results include 3.35m @ 15.07 grams per tonne gold and 19.6g/t silver; 2.68m @ 6.74g/t gold and 3.1g/t silver; and 7.41m @ 4.39g/t gold and 5.6g/t silver.

Senior Vice President Lex Lambeck says these holes are testing what is referred as the Perry Zone Upwelling, where fluids in the hydrothermal system have been focused and where ‘boiling’ took place.

“This has resulted in the high grades we are seeing,” Lambeck says.

“The upwelling is defined by a structural dilation zone, one of several that exist at Philadelphia. Vein textures and mineralisation styles confirm we remain at the top of the boiling zone along the approximately 3km strike of the Arabian Fault.

“Our objective remains to expand the Perry Zone both north-south and down dip while advancing district-scale exploration across the entire Philadelphia Property. Ongoing fieldwork is defining additional high-priority targets, including the eastern and northeastern anomalies.”

Arizona Gold & Silver note that progress on the Bureau of Land Management permit remains on track, allowing the company to drill the down dip extension of the Perry Zone and the Red Hills area where it sees bulk tonnage potential.

To date, four holes for 1,105m have been drilled, with additional assays pending.

Drilling is continuing along the Perry Zone, where ongoing structural analysis is identifying additional upwelling and dilation zones along the Arabian Fault that may host high-grade mineralisation.

The program is designed to advance exploration along strike to the north and south, while also testing the potential for large bulk-tonnage mineralisation beneath Red Hills, with the aim of expanding shallow and deeper mineralisation zones.

Concurrent field exploration programs continue to refine property-wide drill targets, underscoring the project’s emerging district-scale potential.

Arizona Gold & Silver is a mineral explorer focused on discovering precious metals in Arizona and Nevada.
