Arizona Gold & Silver (TSX-V:AZS) has received assay results from core hole PC25-157, showcasing a wider mineralised structure with gold present in additional host rocks.
The results of core hole PC25-157 revealed mineralisation starting at 299.76 metres in andesite, continuing into rhyolite at 284.54 metres, and conglomerate at 299.76 metres before encountering the Perry Vein at 313.69 metres.
Vice President Exploration Greg Hahn notes that the Perry Vein was intersected “as predicted”.
“Significantly, stockwork quartz-calcite veining in the hanging wall of the vein (primarily in andesite), carries appreciable amounts of gold and silver not encountered in previous holes,” he adds.
“This developing stockwork zone is changing our interpretation of the nature of mineralisation along the mineralised corridor. It definitely adds a potentially bulk-mineable component to the deposit as it swells in thickness. I look forward to the results for PC25-158.”
Drilling is ongoing, with PC25-158 in progress now.
