Arizona Gold demonstrates size of Silverton’s target

Arizona Gold & Silver (TSX-V:AZS) has received results from a sampling program completed at the Silverton Project in Nevada, US, which demonstrates the size of the antimony target present on the property.

Silverton hosts two target types which are a Carlin-type large tonnage gold system and an overlying antimony-gold-silver vein that is well exposed at surface.

As part of the program, 14 samples were collected across stibnite-quartz veins and adjacent silicified and argillised ash flow tuff where previous sample tags could be found in the field.

Results returned grades up to 7.95% antimony which came from a vein 25.4cm wide. The average of all samples graded at 1.38% antimony, including non-vein material.

The Silverton Project database contains multi-element geochemistry from over 2,000 rock samples collected primarily by previous companies including Newcrest Resources between 2002-2004.

The US Bureau of Land Management has accepted the financial guarantee to cover the reclamation attendant to a proposed drilling program. The program will comprise 27 reverse circulation drillholes from 17 drill pads.

Arizona Gold & Silver is a mineral explorer focused on discovering precious metals in the US.
