Argentina Metals appoints Clegg as CEO

Argentina Metals (TSX‑V:ARGM) has appointed Roger Clegg as CEO and director, with Raymond Harari transitioning to president.

Clegg brings more than 25 years of experience across geology, corporate finance, investment banking, and executive leadership.

He previously served as head of natural resources at Imara Corporate Finance, advising on M&A, financing, and strategic transactions, and as COO at Ambrian PLC. He also held senior mining finance positions at Barclays Capital and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, and began his career as a consultant exploration geologist.

Chairman Titus Gebel says Clegg’s appointment positions the company for the upcoming field season and next stage of growth.

“I am very pleased to welcome Roger as our new chief executive officer. As we transition into this next phase, I look forward to working closely with Roger and the broader team to build on the progress we have made and to prepare the company for the upcoming field season,” Gebel notes.

Clegg says he is excited to join at an important stage and looks forward to collaborating with Harari in his new role.

“I am excited to […] work closely with the VLLC team as we prepare for the upcoming field season,” Clegg remarks.

“Ray has built a strong foundation for the company, and I look forward to collaborating with him in his new role as president while bringing my own blend of technical and corporate finance experience to the team.”

The board has approved the grant of 2 million restricted share units to Clegg vesting over four years, subject to TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) approval.

Argentina Metals holds approximately 146,700 hectares across 26 projects in Mendoza province, Argentina, anchored by the flagship Las Estrellas project.
