Arbor Metals kicks off Jarnet drilling

Arbor Metals (TSX-V:ABR) has begun a phase one diamond drilling program at the Jarnet Lithium Project in Québec, Canada.

Phase one will comprise 2,200m of diamond drilling across eight holes from four drill setups. Drilling will focus on the Jarnet 2 target, while also testing high-priority targets at Firebird, Corvette and St Pierre.

The phase one program is designed to follow-up on previously identified lithium mineralisation during the 2025 campaigns, which returned several lithium-bearing pegmatite intercepts.

Some of those results include 1.56m @ 5,781 parts per million (ppm) lithium and 1.5m @ 2,224ppm lithium.

President Mark Ferguson says the company believes this program represents an “important step” in advancing the project and unlocking the broader lithium potential within the district.

The company’s Jarnet, Corvette Lake and St Pierre projects are all located in the James Bay region of Québec, Canada. The projects cover an area of 5,606 hectares and are contiguous to the Corvette-FCI Project, where diamond drilling has confirmed lithium mineralisation representing ‘one of the highest profile’ lithium exploration projects in the sector.

Arbor Metals is a mineral explorer focused on developing high-value Canadian projects.
