ANTAM unveils new ‘Indonesian Heritage’ silver and gold products ahead of nation’s independence day

Member of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ASX:ATM) (ANTAM) has introduced its latest series of thematic silver and gold products, named Indonesian Heritage, ahead of the nation’s independence day. 

The company, which has a $5.28 billion market capitalisation, says its new collection has been released through the Precious Metal Processing and Refinery Business Unit. 

These new products include, for the first time ever, 6 premium silver bar designs with a weight of 1 Toz, or 31.103 grams, whereas the gold gift series will be released in 4 designs with a weight of 0.5 grams. 

Aneka reports the Indonesian heritage silver bar measures 42.5mm by 25.55mm and features a number of landmark designs of the country’s strategic cities.

Meanwhile, the gold gift series products come in 2 variants, which include 2,400 pieces and a complete of 600 sets and, as a collectable item, these items are anticipated to be more valuable in the future. 

The company also says these products can be obtained at all Precious Metal Gold Boutique networks in 12 cities, as well as through online purchases on the official website.   

Speaking on the launch of these new products, Aneka Tambang Director of Operations and Production Hartono says: “The launch of the new silver and gold product series is in line with the momentum of welcoming the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia by showcasing the strategic regions of Indonesia with iconic landscapes from several regions that have historical values, including the National Monument in the silver bar product design.

While in the gold gift series products, several landscapes of tourist destinations are emphasised as designs to show the beauty of Indonesia and its cultural heritage. Upon this launch, ANTAM presents differentiation, specifically through silver products aimed at responding to customer expectations and demands. ANTAM expects the Indonesian Heritage series products to support the company’s performance and sales targets. This product is also believed to be a valuable collection in the long term and timeless.”
