American Uranium grows Lo Herma’s resource

American Uranium (ASX:AMU) has increased its interim resource to 9.45 million pounds of radiometric equivalent triuranium octoxide at the Lo Herma Project in Wyoming.

The company has increased Lo Herma’s resource to 5.93 million tonnes total mineralisation at an average grade of 720 parts per million radiometric equivalent triuranium octoxide for 9.45 million pounds, with 4.02 million pounds in the indicated category and another 5.43 million pounds in the inferred category at the halfway point of drilling.

Drilling will cover a total of 121 holes in this campaign, which has achieved 10% growth from drilling of 66 holes to date from the former estimate of 8.57 million pounds.

American Uranium says the increase represents “meaningful progress in both scale and confidence” at Lo Herma.

CEO Bruce Lane says the Lo Herma Project is continuing to grow and de‑risk throughout the ongoing drilling campaign.

“This interim update expands the global resource to 9.45 million pounds radiometric equivalent triuranium octoxide and lifts the indicated category to 43%,” Lane says.

“Within that, resources at Mine Units 1-3 – the planned Scoping Study footprint – now total 7 million pounds at 46% indicated, driven by upgrades in Mine Units 1 and 2.

“With 55 holes planned for Q2 2026 and ongoing hydrogeological and metallurgical work, we are targeting a further resource update and a Scoping Study in Q3 2026 to assess in-situ recovery development options, including potential hub‑and‑spoke pathways using regional processing infrastructure.

“Strategically, Lo Herma sits within Wyoming’s established in-situ recovery district where value is typically unlocked via a hub‑and‑spoke production model.”

American Uranium now holds a total resource of 11.11 million pounds of uranium in Wyoming, including the Great Divide Basin.

American Uranium is focused on advancing the Lo Herma In-Situ Recovery Uranium Project located in Wyoming’s Powder River basin in the US.
