Aguia Resources launches commercial sales campaign for Pampafos

Aguia Resources (ASX:AGR) has received a licence from Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) to begin marketing and sales for Pampafos, marking a ‘significant step’ in commercialising the product in the market.

Aguia notes that the MAPA approval reinforces the company’s progress, supports the commercial sales campaign, and bolsters Pampafos’ future growth.

The project is highlighted as a regional source of phosphate for Southern Brazil, helping to strengthen security of supply and deliver a local, resilient supply chain for the country with less reliance on imported products.

As previously reported, Aguia received an operating licence from Brazil’s environmental agency, FEPAM, earlier in May 2026 and began mining and haulage activities immediately after.

Managing Director Tim Hosking says that the commercial approvals received for Pampafos are a ‘major milestone’ for the company.

“It allows our commercial team to start marketing the product for delivery in the second half of 2026 and to launch a sales campaign, with payment due before 8 July 2026 and guaranteed delivery by 31 December 2026,” Hosking says.

“This campaign is expected to accelerate free cash flow into July 2026.”

Aguia’s commercial team is offering pre-order price reductions of up to 15% for any payments made on or before 8 July 2026, with delivery in the second half of the year. Pricing for Pampafos’ 12% phosphorus pentoxide is at $222 per tonne on a cash basis.

The company notes that supply through the Port of Rio Grande has been constrained since the start of 2026, with additional impacts from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Analysts have noted that Pampafos’ prices provide an advantage over imported alternatives, with Pampafos offering an estimated 20%–40% cost saving compared to other market prices.

Aguia Resources is an ASX-listed multi-commodity company with pre-production phosphate projects in Brazil and gold projects in Colombia.
