Pedro Kastellorizos steps down as Argent Minerals CEO

Argent Minerals (ASX:ARD) has accepted Pedro Kastellorizos’ resignation from the company’s top job.

From 15 June 2026 Kastellorizos will no longer receive an annual base salary of more than $292,000 and performance cash bonuses of up to $30,000. He may still be eligible for dividends from his 12.5 million company shares ($700,000) and 3 million unlisted options ($18,000).

Although the contractual notice of termination is three months, the board of directors approved Kastellorizos giving more than two months’ notice. He will continue to serve as a technical consultant after the notice period expires.

A recruitment process is underway to find the next managing director and CEO.

“The board has commenced the process to identify and appoint a suitably qualified successor with strong experience across the resources sector, project development, and capital markets to lead the company through its next phase of growth,” Chair Peter Michael says.

“The board thanks Mr Kastellorizos for his leadership, commitment, and contribution to the company during his tenure — especially the significant expansion of Kempfield’s nationally significant mineral resource estimate and the advancement of our broader exploration portfolio.”
