AbraSilver Resource Diablillos Project in Argentina

AbraSilver conjures ‘high-grade’ silver at Oculto West

AbraSilver Resource (TSX:ABRA) has returned ‘high-grade’ silver-gold intercepts from its phase six drilling program at the Diablillos Project in Argentina.

Intercepts from hole DDH 26-036 delivered 109m at 221.2 grams per tonne silver (Ag) and 0.72g/t gold (Au) at Oculto West, including 14.0m at 580g/t Ag and 1.44g/t Au from 49.0m depth.

Additional results include 7.6m at 0.73% copper (Cu) in the mixed oxide-sulphide interval and 15m at 0.54% Cu in sulphides, highlighting potential for underlying copper and precious metals mineralisation beneath the oxide zone.

Drilling confirms broad silver-gold mineralisation in a previously undrilled area at Oculto West while extending mineralisation beneath the current conceptual open pit.

The results highlight potential to expand mineral resources beyond the recently completed Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) mine plan.

“With our DFS now complete, our exploration efforts have returned to unlocking the longer-term growth potential of the Diablillos district,” CEO John Miniotis says.

“The broad intercept at Oculto West fills an important gap in drilling while confirming the continuity of high-grade silver-gold mineralisation beyond the DFS mine plan.”

DDH 26-022 intersected silver mineralisation below the current conceptual open pit along the JAC-Oculto trend, returning 28m @ 65.4g/t Ag and 0.31g/t Au from 164m depth.

At Oculto East, multiple gold-mineralised intervals were intersected in holes DDH 26-028, 26-032, and 26-034. Drilling continues to define the extent of mineralised structures beyond the current conceptual open pit margin.

Initial drilling has commenced at the Cerro Viejo target, where previous channel sampling identified extensive gold mineralisation within east-west trending silicified structures extending approximately 1.5km.

Diablillos hosts proven and probable mineral reserves of 77.9Mt grading 146g/t silver equivalent, containing 184Moz of Ag and 1.8Moz of Au.

AbraSilver Resource is a silver-gold developer advancing the Diablillos project in Argentina, with over 170,000m of drilling completed on the property to date.
