Canadian mineral explorer Vanguard Mining (CSE:UUU) has entered into an assignment and waiver agreement with Homegold Resources and Stamper Oil & Gas (TSX-V:STMP).
Under the agreement, Stamper has assigned Vanguard its interest in an option agreement from 2021 to acquire mineral claims – known as the Redonda Property – in Campbell River, British Columbia.
As such, Vanguard now holds the option to acquire the remaining 50% interest in Redonda by making a C$400,000 ($435,557) cash payment on or before 21 May 2026.
The Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project is an exploration-stage asset covering 2,746.46 hectares across nine mineral claims. The project represents a district-scale porphyry-style copper-molybdenum opportunity with strong geological potential.
Vanguard Mining is focused on the discovery and development of strategic minerals. The company is currently advancing uranium exploration projects in the US and Paraguay, with a focus on identifying and developing assets critical to the global energy transition.
