The Canadian market is set to welcome two publicly traded gold mining companies. Cadillac Mines and Amapá Minerals have both filed for initial public offering (IPO) listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
Cadillac, fresh off a rebrand, has several gold exploration assets in Eastern Canada, with its flagship asset being the Kerr-Addison Project in Ontario.
Amapá’s main operation is a past-producing gold project of the same name, located within the Guiana Shield of northern Brazil.
Cadillac’s offering will be led by BMO Capital Markets, National Bank of Canada Capital Markets and Stifel Canada, while Amapá’s will be managed by BMO and Canaccord Genuity.
Their potential debuts signify a resurgence in IPO activity in Toronto after years of dormancy.
They join BG Gold Capital II, which filed for a listing earlier in the month to fund its activities in the northern territory of Nunavut.
