The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) has delivered its Q3 2026 mining report, highlighting 50 new mining listings, 996 total financings, and C$12.7 billion ($12.86 billion) in total equity capital raised.
The number of new financings excludes the graduates and comedowns. If included, that figure comes out to 64 total new listings across the TSX Venture (TSX-V) and the TSX exchanges.
The total number of combined issuers was at 1,076, with 890 on the TSX-V and 186 on the TSX. Majority of the financings also took place for TSX-V-listed companies, at 909 financings, as compared to 87 financings on the TSX.
August 2026 marked a milestone of 800 graduates from the TSX-V to the TSX. The report notes that the graduation to the TSX marks a “major operational milestone in a company’s growth journey”.
It also highlights the pathway from the TSX-V to the TSX as a global leader in helping to scale companies, attract global capital, and deliver long-term value for investors.
The TSX and TSX-V are run by the TMX Group, a leader in global markets and exchanges.
Graduations from the venture exchange to the TSX are able to take place once companies are able to meet the listing requirements needed for the senior board.
The TMX Group notes that one in five companies in the S&P/TSX Composite Index today are graduates of the TSX-V.
